Kim Yeo-hee, a Korean woman, has garnered enough viral Internet stardom and following to sign a record deal with a label in her home country. Using iPhone’s and music-generating apps to accompany her, the classically trained musician has received more than 4.2 million views on YouTube. She got a great voice (which helps of course…)
Check out the video below to hear her rendition of Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” and below that for her first official music video from her recording sessions….
So we recently came across this performance by the legendairy group Axis of Awesome… the no of times people come up to us and ask us to do this song, or that song … so why not do 30 of them in one go… keep everyone happy… Chad ‘off the wall’ Zerf arranged this for us and we will be bringing it to you guys & gals very soon!
This year, D-seven will be making The Grahamstown Festival THAT much more of a party….thanks to Butlers Pizza & Rob Wilkinson. Â So if you’re making a stop at the biggest Arts Festival of the year, you know where you’re going to want to be…

D-seven will be doing a very intimate Jam Session At the very cool Studio 54 on Monday the 28th of June. Studio 54, has housed some of the Cape Town’s Best Musicians from Jason Reolon, Buddy Wells, Jack Mantis Band, Hot Water, Charlie Summerfield & Shen Winberg to name a few, now will host a jam session that will be unique to its walls. D-seven will be doing a complete un-miced jam session doing their most well known tracks but also experimenting with new sounds, songs and singers…
With less than 50 seats, its a treat for anyone who appreciates an intimate setting of great music. Set in a large house, that is transformed into a jam studio with massive white couches, fireplace, low lighting, gluwein and great people, Studio 54 is becoming one of Cape Town’s best kept live music secrets.
D-seven is leaving on the 30th of June for Grahamstown Festival. We are doing an intimate performance at an awesome space in Greenpoint. With only 100 seats, we look forward to sharing with our Cape Town Fans some of our new tracks and programme for our up and coming Grahamstown Trip. After spending a lot of time in studio tracking our most well known tracks, and out of studio working on new music, we look forward to sharing a fantastic evening with you in an amazing space. Due to the great acoustic you can most certainly look forward to hearing a couple of our songs unplugged during the evening.
Anna Ridgewell & Cafe Max will be hosting D-seven in an awesome venue that will be transformed for the evening for this intimate & exclusive occasion. Now we all know the World Cup Last 16 Matches are on that evening (not in Cape Town) and so we have timed our performance in between the two games so you don’t miss one minute of The World Cup. After our performance we will be screening the 2nd Round 16 Match in High Def with a projector and massive sound system.
Its our last fundraiser before we leave, so please come support, listen, drink wine and enjoy the football with us!
