D-seven will be performing on Friday the 19th of February on the CTICC Lifestyle Stage. Hosted by 5fm, the party will also include premier South African acts I Scream Chocolate Stix and Gang of Instrumentals, as well as the lovely ladies of 5fm.

Following the massive success of the Up the Creek Festival this past weekend, D-seven has made it into the online news cycle, albeit in an unconventional way.
In Overheard at Up the Creek on Channel24.com, an anonymous member of D-seven was quoted as saying to African comedian, Rob van Vuuren (of Corne and Twakkie fame), “Thank you, Rob van Vuuren, for bringing all of us out of the closet at the same time.”
Needless to say, you’ll have to ask one of the boys exactly what they meant by that. After all, context is everything. And they’re all straight. Super straight. So straight it’s fabulous.

D-seven will be doing what they do best at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on February 19th 2010 – entertaining a swathe of women.
Catch the boys for a small warm up gig at the Women’s Show between 17:15 and 17:35, before they kick start the 5fm Ladies Night at 19:00.

The 14th of February may be Valentines Day, but the 13th is the date that you’ll want to remember. That is, of course, if you and your partner are the lucky winners of this fantastic competition by D-seven and Cosmpolitan and Bilton Wine Estate, in associati0n with Boschendal and The Grand Daddy Hotel.
The winners of the competition, which is currently in it’s final phase of adjudication, by judges, will be driven by classic car to Bilton Wine Estate for wine tasting and romantic dinner for two on the evening of the 13th of February. And if you happen to live outside of Cape Town, you’ll be flown to the mother city courtesy of Bilton before hand. No romantic dinner is complete without a little music, and D-seven is on hand to wind up the romance an extra few notches, whilst doing their absolute best not to appear attractive to your date. Fine wine is courtesy of Bilton and bubbly by Boschendal.
After dinner, the lucky couple will be whisked away to their lodgings for the night, to the ultra-chic Airstream Trailer park on the roof of the award-winning Grand Daddy Hotel, where more Boschendal bubbly will be on hand. The following morning our couple is treated to a champagne breakfast (did anyone say Boschendal?) in Cape Town, and will be free to take in the sites and sounds of the Mother city before provided transport delivers them safely back home on Sunday evening.

Elgin is a place of beauty, tranquility, and peace.
At least it will be, until D-seven and Watershed rock up.
The Paul Cluver Wine Estate boasts one of the most beautiful stages in South Africa, the Paul Cluver Amphitheatre.
Needless to say, it hardly needs improving, but that won’t stop D-seven and Watershed from ratcheting the appeal of this picturesque place up a few notches from 6:30pm on Saturday the 30th of January. D-seven will be on stage between 6:30pm and 7pm, and Watershed will be on stage from 7pm onward.
Breathe some fresh air, drink some mature wine, open your heart to great music, and get those natural endorphins going.

The 5th and 6th of February sees the boys of D-seven packing their suits for a road trip out of Cape Town, to the site of musical stirrings on the banks of the Breede River, outside the picturesque town of Swellendam.
The 2010 edition of the Up The Creek music festival promises four days of mind-altering revelry to kick start your year on a creative vibe.
Some of South Africa’s top musicians will grace the festival’s Main, Die Burger* Bar, and Die Burger River stages from Thursday the 4th of February, to Sunday the 7th of February.
Artists on show include the likes of Akkedis, Dan Patlansky, Bed On Bricks, Corne & Twakkie, The Dirty Skirts, Taxi Violence, The Rudimentals, and the Van Coke Cartel.
And of course, the dapper men of D-seven, who will appear between sets on Friday night on the Main Stage and Die Burger Bar Stage, and Die Burger River Stage and Die Burger Bar Stage on Saturday night.
Camping space is available, as well as plentiful fine views.

You have heard the good news before. It went something like this: The good folks at The Grand Daddy Hotel on Long know that nothing goes together like sunset, trailer parks, sundowners and serenade. They’ve teamed up with Cape Town’s foremost male a’capella musical act, D-seven, to bring you a concert in the park-the air-stream motel trailer park.
Well, the ball keeps on rolling. Wednesday-evening D-seven sundowner concerts on the rooftop of the grand Daddy Hotel have become something of an institution in recent times. Last week Seth Rotherham – editor of 2oceansvibe.com, gentleman extraordinaire and purveyor of all things cool – made himself comfortable amongst the airstream trailers and left D-seven to the limelight for a moment.
So if you catch yourself on a Wednesday evening thinking “Where can I go for fine company, a drink and top live music, for free?” stop what you’re doing, and make a beeline for the Grand Daddy Hotel on Long Street.

Will busting the Kilt
Will busting the KiltOn the Saturday the 19th of December, D-seven performed on one of South Africa’s most prestigious and incredible stages, being guest artists at the annual Christmas Carols at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in Cape Town. The weather played its part, and we were graced by a capacity crowd of 5500 people, picnicking on the lawns waiting for the carols to start. It was a fantastic event arranged by the Rotary Club of Cape Town and sponsored by Pick n Pay.
